My parents are my first teachers. And today I want to tell you a story about us. One day, my parents asked me to buy some meat and vegetables for dinner. In the supermarket, I bought some cabbages and some pork. It was very noisy and very crowded in the supermarket. So I tried to pay the money quickly. “How much are they, please?” I asked. “Twelve Yuan, please.” answered the shopkeeper. I paid the money and took the change. On my way home, I found the shopkeeper gave more money to me than he should! I was so happy. I thought it was sure that my parents would be very happy. But I was wrong, my parents got very angry instead. My father said angrily:“A person should always be honest. If you are a dishonest person, no one will believe you!” Then my mother added: “This money doesn’t belong to you, but you took it, you must give it back.” I agreed with my parents and I gave the money back to the shopkeeper.
