I was not good at English or math before. But I wanted to study them well.
When I was just over seven years old, I had math lessons in school every day, and I found that math wasn’t hard. It was easy. After I turned ten, I began to learn English, but I knew that I was having trouble with it.
I was very worried, so my parents sent me to an extra English class. I met many students similar to me, and we studied together. I was very happy to meet our teacher, Mr Chen. You may want to know why. I will tell you the reason. With his help, my English improved. I want to say, “Thank you, Mr Chen.”
I’m pleased that I can now understand and learn both English and math.
